Contraindications and harm


Despite all its useful properties, nettle, like any plant, has a number of contraindications and limitations in use. They are mainly associated with the ability of the plant to increase blood clotting and density.

The use of nettle and products based on it is not recommended for the following categories of people:

  • Suffering from hypertension. With excessive use of nettle, the thickening properties of the plant lead to a serious increase in pressure;
  • Pregnant women, especially in the last months of pregnancy. Nettle greatly increases the tone of the uterus, which can lead to premature birth or miscarriage;
